Kalahari Resorts & Conventions honors the people who serve with a dedicated discount: 10% off the Best Available Rate for active, veteran, and retired military personnel — plus first responders — when you book with promo code HEROES. The offer, called Kalahari Heroes, is listed on Kalahari’s own website across its resort locations, making it one of the clearest military hotel deals in the waterpark-resort world.
Kalahari’s resorts in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia are built around some of America’s largest indoor waterparks, which makes this discount a strong fit for a family trip. Here is who qualifies, exactly how much you save, and how to book it.
Who is Eligible for the Kalahari Resorts Military Discount?
The Kalahari Heroes offer honors:
- Active military personnel
- Veteran military personnel
- Retired military personnel
- First responders, including law enforcement, fire services, and emergency medical services (EMS)
A valid form of identification is required to verify your employment, service, or membership, and you must present it upon check-in to redeem the exclusive rate. The offer covers one room or suite per ID, so if your party needs more than one room, plan accordingly — additional rooms may not qualify for the discounted rate under the same ID.
Blackout dates may apply, which means the Heroes rate may not be available on every date, particularly during peak holiday periods. Checking your dates early is the best way to lock in the discount.
How Much Military Discount Does Kalahari Resorts Provide?
Kalahari Resorts offers 10% off the Best Available Rate when you book the Kalahari Heroes offer. The Best Available Rate is the resort’s standard public rate for your room and dates, so the 10% saving comes straight off that price.
The discount is claimed with promo code HEROES, entered at booking on Kalahari’s official website. Because the offer is tied to the Best Available Rate, your total saving scales with the room you choose — a longer stay or a larger suite means a larger dollar saving at the same 10%.
One practical note from Kalahari’s own offer page: upon check-in, Kalahari requires a $200 pre-authorization charge on a physical credit or debit card. That is a temporary hold, not an extra fee, but it is worth knowing about before you arrive so you have the right card ready.
