How Much Is the goHUNT Military Discount?
goHUNT advertises savings of up to 15% on its store. The words “up to” matter here, because goHUNT also says brand and category exclusions apply. Some products may get a smaller discount or none at all.
Here are the key rules:
- Brand and category exclusions: Some brands and categories are excluded. goHUNT points shoppers to its Help Center for item-level details.
- Insider Memberships excluded: The GovX discount does not apply to goHUNT Insider Memberships. For a military discount on Insider, goHUNT asks you to contact its support team by email.
- One code per day: There is a limit of one discount code per day.
- No points on discounted orders: goHUNT says you do not earn points on purchases made with the GovX discount.
goHUNT does not say whether the GovX discount can be combined with other offers, so that is unconfirmed.

Tips to Make the Most of the Discount
- Check exclusions first: Review goHUNT’s Help Center if you have your eye on a specific brand, since some brands are excluded.
- Decide on points vs. discount: Because points are not earned on GovX-discounted orders, compare the value of the 15% discount with the points you would otherwise earn.
- Buy in one order: With one code per day, combine your gear into a single purchase.
- Plan before the season: Ordering ahead of hunting season gives you time to test gear before you head out.
Is the goHUNT Military Discount Worth It?
If you buy hunting gear regularly, saving up to 15% can make a real difference over a season, especially on higher-priced items like optics or packs from eligible brands.
Just keep the exclusions in mind. Since some brands and categories do not qualify and points are not earned on discounted orders, check your cart and compare the savings before you complete your purchase.
