Brooks Running honors those who serve through its Community Heroes Ambassador Program, which gives verified military members 25% off eligible items on BrooksRunning.com. For runners who log serious miles in training or on duty, that discount makes Brooks’ premium running shoes and performance gear meaningfully more affordable. The program is free to join, the verification takes just a few minutes through ID.me, and members can claim up to three single-use discount codes every rolling 12-month period.
Who is Eligible for the Brooks Military Discount?
The Brooks Community Heroes Ambassador Program is open to three groups of community heroes, and membership is completely free:
- Military members — the program welcomes those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces
- Nurses — including nursing professionals serving in hospitals, clinics, and care facilities
- First responders — such as firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, and law enforcement officers
To join, you verify your status through ID.me, the identity-verification service Brooks uses to confirm eligibility. Verification is done entirely online, and once your military status is confirmed, you become a member of the Community Heroes Ambassador Program at no cost. The program is designed for personal use, so the discount codes you receive are tied to your own verified account and cannot be shared or transferred.
One important note: the discount applies to orders shipped within the United States. If you are stationed overseas or ordering to an international address, the Community Heroes codes will not apply, so plan your purchase around a U.S. shipping address.
How Much Military Discount Does Brooks Provide?
Verified members receive 25% off eligible items purchased on BrooksRunning.com. On a $180 pair of Brooks’ flagship daily trainers, that works out to $45 in savings per pair — a significant break for runners who replace shoes every few hundred miles.
Members can receive up to three single-use 25% discount codes per rolling 12-month period, so the program comfortably covers a full year of training shoes for most runners. Each code is single-use, meaning one code equals one discounted order.
There are a few exclusions to know about. The 25% discount applies to eligible items only and cannot be used on sale or clearance items, select lifestyle collections, or runDisney products. It also cannot be combined with most other promotions, so if an item is already marked down, the Community Heroes code will not stack on top of the sale price. The discount is valid for online purchases at BrooksRunning.com only — it cannot be redeemed in physical retail stores or through third-party retail partners that carry Brooks products.
How to Claim the Brooks Military Discount
Claiming your 25% Community Heroes discount takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps:
- Visit the official Community Heroes page. Go to Brooks’ Community Heroes Ambassador Program page on BrooksRunning.com to start.
- Verify your status with ID.me. Click through to ID.me and complete the verification process, which confirms your military service using official documentation or records.
- Copy your single-use promo code. Once verified, Brooks issues you a single-use 25% discount code. Copy it — each code can only be used once.
- Shop and apply at checkout. Add your shoes and gear to your cart on BrooksRunning.com, paste the code in the promo-code field at checkout, and the 25% discount will be applied to eligible items before you pay.
- Come back for more codes. You can receive up to three codes per rolling 12 months, so return to the program page when you need your next pair.
Tip: since codes are single-use, make sure your cart is final before applying one — if you remove items or abandon the order after applying a code, that code is spent.
