Bass Pro Shops honors veterans, active military, and first responders with 10% off almost everything, every day, through its Legendary Salute Program. The program is described in Bass Pro Shops’ own announcements as a daily 10% discount at all Bass Pro Shops — and Cabela’s — locations in the United States and Canada. Whether you are stocking up on fishing tackle, hunting gear, camping equipment, or apparel, the discount applies at the register, all year long.
Here is who qualifies, what the discount covers, and how to claim it.
Who is Eligible for the Bass Pro Shops Military Discount?
The Legendary Salute Program honors people serving on the front lines, including:
- Veterans of the U.S. armed forces
- Active military members
- Law enforcement officers
- Firefighters
- State fish and wildlife agency employees
The program is a company-wide policy at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s stores in the United States and Canada — not a single-store promotion — so eligible shoppers can count on it at any location.
How Much Military Discount Does Bass Pro Shops Provide?
Bass Pro Shops provides 10% off almost everything in store, every day, through the Legendary Salute Program. The one exception Bass Pro Shops names is firearms and ammunition, which receive a 5% discount instead of 10%. The discount applies at all Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s locations in the United States and Canada.
Because the program is a standing daily discount rather than a limited-time sale, there is no window to miss — veterans and active military members can use it on any shopping trip, year-round.
How to Claim the Bass Pro Shops Military Discount
