How Much Is the Pit Boss Military Discount?
Pit Boss offers 25% off eligible purchases. Its main page says the discount covers grills, griddles, smokers, accessories, fuel, and rubs, while the FAQ mentions grills, griddles, and smokers. Here are the important rules:
- No discounted items: The 25% discount does not apply to already discounted or on-sale items.
- No retailer exclusives: Retailer-exclusive and retailer-specific items are excluded.
- No stacking: The discount cannot be combined with other offers.

Tips to Get the Most From Your Discount
- Buy at full price: Since sale items are excluded, the discount works best on full-price grills and smokers.
- Compare with sales: If a grill is already on sale, compare the sale price to 25% off the regular price and choose the better deal.
- Shop direct: The discount only works on pitboss-grills.com, so do not expect it at big-box retailers.
- Check accessories in your cart: Confirm whether pellets, rubs, or accessories receive the discount before you check out.
Is the Pit Boss Military Discount Worth It?
A 25% discount on a grill or smoker can add up to meaningful savings, especially on larger models. The ability to verify with either ID.me or GovX also makes it convenient, since many service members already have one of those accounts. The main thing to remember is that sale and retailer-exclusive items do not qualify, so it is best used on full-price purchases from Pit Boss directly.
If you are planning a new setup, consider buying your grill and any eligible accessories in one order, then check that each item shows the discount before you pay. That way you know exactly how much you are saving before your first cookout.
Keep in mind that the discount is tied to the official Pit Boss website. If you see a Pit Boss grill at a big-box store, that retailer sets its own prices, and the 25% military discount will not apply there.
