LG Military Discount: Save at Least 10% at the LG Partner Store
Big home purchases add up fast — a new refrigerator, a washer and dryer set, or a large OLED TV can run into thousands of dollars. If you serve, or have served, in the U.S. military, LG offers a standing way to pay less. Through the LG Appreciation Program, verified military members and veterans get access to the LG Partner Store, where LG guarantees a minimum discount of 10% compared to LG.com sale prices, all year round. There is no coupon to hunt for and no holiday sale to wait on. Below, we explain who qualifies, how much you can save, and the exact steps to start shopping at Partner Store prices.
Who Is Eligible for the LG Military Discount?
The LG military discount is available to members of the U.S. military community who verify their status through ID.me. LG’s own program FAQ lists military members and veterans among the eligible groups, alongside first responders, medical providers, nurses, hospital employees, teachers, students and government employees.
In practice, that means active duty service members across the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force and Coast Guard can verify, as can veterans who have previously served. Because eligibility is confirmed inside the ID.me verification itself, the safest approach is simply to start the free verification and let ID.me confirm your status.
One point worth knowing: the discount lives inside the LG Partner Store, a members-only storefront separate from the regular LG.com shop. You do not need a special invitation — your verified ID.me status is what unlocks the door, and once verified, you can return and shop whenever you like.
How Much Is the LG Military Discount?
LG states the core benefit plainly: Partner Store members receive a minimum guaranteed discount of 10% compared to LG.com sale prices. Two parts of that sentence matter.
First, “minimum” — 10% is the floor, not a ceiling. The exact saving on a given product is whatever the Partner Store price shows against the LG.com sale price, and on some items the difference may be larger. What you can count on is that the Partner Store price will be at least 10% below the comparable LG.com sale price.
Second, the comparison is against LG.com sale prices, not just list prices. That means the guarantee is measured against prices that may already be reduced, so the Partner Store is worth checking even during an LG.com promotion.
On top of the product discount, the Appreciation Program adds perks that can save real money on large appliances:
- Free installation on select OLED TVs
- Free installation on all refrigerators, laundry products and cooking ranges, including eligible LG STUDIO products
- Free delivery on Partner Store orders
Installation fees on large appliances add up quickly, so count these perks as part of your total saving when you compare prices.
How to Get and Claim the LG Military Discount
Getting set up takes a few minutes, and you only verify once — after that, signing in is all it takes.
Step 1: Go to the LG Appreciation Program page
Start at LG’s Appreciation Program page on LG.com and look for the option to join or verify. This is the official entry point to the Partner Store.
Step 2: Verify your military status with ID.me
Select the military category and complete the free ID.me verification. ID.me will walk you through confirming your service status, which can involve providing documentation. The verification is handled entirely by ID.me, not by LG, and your verified status is saved to your ID.me account.
Step 3: Sign in to the LG Partner Store
Once verified, head to lg.com/partnerstore and sign in. This members-only store is where the guaranteed discounts and perks apply, so do your shopping here rather than in the regular LG.com store.
Step 4: Shop and check your prices at checkout
Browse the Partner Store, add what you need, and review your order before paying. Your member pricing is reflected in the store, and the free delivery and installation benefits on eligible products form part of the offer — confirm they show on your order for qualifying items such as refrigerators, laundry pairs, cooking ranges and select OLED TVs.
For future purchases, skip the verification step entirely: just sign in at the Partner Store with your verified account and shop.
